Q: What size touch displays are available?
Ideum Presenter Touch Displays are available in the following sizes: 43”, 49”, 55”, and 65”. All of our multitouch displays have 4K Ultra HD resolution and support up to 80 simultaneous touch points.
Q: What are the advantages of a motorized stand?
Our motorized stands can easily switch between a flat table, drafting style table, or presentation mode where the display is presented in a “touch wall” orientation. The motorized stands can change to any angle on the fly. The stands also include locking casters.
Q: In what types of settings are motorized stand and multitouch monitors used?
Our motorized stands and touch displays are used in a variety of settings, including offices, meeting rooms, laboratories, university classrooms, control rooms, construction sites, and other demanding spaces that require flexible technology. These systems are often used to review documents or collaborate in other ways. In public spaces such as museums and retail settings, we recommend our hardened and lockable multitouch tables.
Q: What software can run on an Ideum touch display and motorized stand setup?
Ideum Presenter Touch Displays commonly use Windows 10. As a Windows platform, any variety of AEC (architecture, engineering, and construction) applications, visualizations, productivity or other types of applications can be run. Our AEC clients commonly run applications such as Bluebeam, PlanGrid, Revit, Tekla BIMsight, and others.
Q: What components are used in Ideum touch displays?
Ideum’s Presenter Touch Displays have all-aluminum construction, 3M touch technology, and LG commercial 24/7 rated 4K Ultra HD displays. You can download the Presenter Touch Display Specifications PDF document.
Q: How do Ideum touch displays compare to the competition?
Many of our competitors use inferior touch technologies, such as “InGlass” touch or IR (infrared touch). We use industry-leading 3M projected capacitive touch technology (similar to what most smartphones and tablets use). Our touch technology is more responsive, supports more touch points, and has improved “palm rejection.”

Q: What computer options does Ideum offer?
Ideum offers optional integrated PC systems for our Presenter multitouch Displays. Our standard PC comes with an Intel 8th Gen Core i5-8400 processor, 16GB RAM, 250GB NVMe M.2 SSD, and dedicated NVIDIA GTX 1070 graphics card. Our performance PC comes with an Intel 8th Gen Core i7-8700, 32GB RAM, Dual 250GB NVMe M.2 SSD, and a GTX 1080 graphics card.
Q: Can I use my own computer with an Ideum Touch Display?
Yes, you can. Touch is supported on our displays with most version of Windows OS. Please contact us about Mac, Android, and/or Lynx support.
Q: Does Ideum offer other types of touch tables and multitouch displays?
Yes. Ideum has a range of touch tables and multitouch displays. These products use the same industry-leading 3M and LG components and they generally have a 1-to-3 week lead time. In addition, Ideum develops custom wooden conference room touch tables, cabinetry, and other exhibits with integrated touch displays. We also offer our Inline Displays which are designed for integration into wood and other materials.
Q: Can Ideum develop custom software for these types of installations?
Yes. Ideum has a dedicated team of producers, designers, and software engineers. Our Creative Services group has worked with Fortune 500 companies and top museums to develop exhibits, desktop software, and utilities.
